On the Road with Scottish Ballet

Help Scottish Ballet go further with On the Road with Scottish Ballet. In addition to public funding, we are dependent on the generosity of businesses and individuals to transport Scottish Ballet all over Scotland and even internationally. By buying one of our touring cases you can help transport Scottish Ballet from Lerwick to London and Galashiels to Germany!

 

Where can YOU take us?

 

£25 Dancers Touring Case

Containing pointe shoes, ribbons, rehearsal clothes, make up, tights and accessories to last the duration of the tour.

By contributing £25 you will receive creditation on the Scottish Ballet Website.

 

£50 Technical Touring Case

Containing lighting and sound equipment used to bring sparkle and dazzle to productions; from setting the mood of the celebratory scene as Cinderella marries her Prince Charming to the somber scene of Romeo and Juliet’s death. These cases also carry equipment such as smoke machines and pyrotechnics used to enhance the magic of the theatre.

By contributing £50 you will receive creditation on the Scottish Ballet Website and in tour programme.

 

£100 Costume and Prop Touring Case

Containing all the costumes and props for each dancer for every scene. For a full length ballet Scottish Ballet tours over 140 costumes and 50 individual props, ranging from 12 beautiful handmade fairy tutus in The Sleeping Beauty to the dagger and poison from Romeo and Juliet. These need to be transported to each venue on the tour without being damaged.

By contributing £100 you will receive creditation on the Scottish Ballet Website and in tour programme, as well as a tour programme signed by Principal dancers.

 

£250 Set Touring Case

Containing the large production sets used to transport the audience into the world of each production; from the art deco staircase, ballroom and glasshouse in The Sleeping Beauty to the balloon carriage and grandfather clock in Cinderella. .

By contributing £250 you will receive creditation on the Scottish Ballet Website and in tour programme, a signed tour programme and poster by Principal dancers. In addition to these benefits you will also receive an invite for tow people to watch ‘behind-the-scenes’ rehearsals at Scottish Ballet’s headquarters.

 

£ Other

Scottish Ballet welcomes all donations, large and small. So, whether you have £5 or £5000 your money will help Scottish Ballet go further.
