Scottish Ballet Summer Schools

 

This summer, Scottish Ballet presents a programme of summer schools.

These classes offer an exciting opportunity to explore two of Scottish Ballet's renowned works; Ashley Page's retelling of the classic tale The Nutcracker at the morning sessions and Krzysztof Pastor's In Light and Shadow in the afternoon. Participants will learn and create choreography, working with the beautiful music of Tchaikovsky and JS Bach. Accompanied by a pianist and led by one of Scottish Ballet's Education Officers, these summer schools offer an action packed couple of days of dance!

Non dancers and experienced dancers welcome. Please wear comfortable clothing that allows free movement, and either soft-soled dance shoes or bare feet.

Body Conditioning (for 18+)   7.00 – 8.30pm              

 

Summer school workshops – attendance both days is required

Fri 14 Aug                    

Age 3-6  - 10.00am – 11.00am

Age 7-10 - 11.00am – 12.00pm

Ages 11+  - 1.00pm – 3.00pm

 

Sat 15 Aug                   

Age 3-6 - 10.00am – 11.00am                                    

Age 7-10 - 11.00am – 12.00pm

Ages 11+ - 1.00pm – 3.00pm

Cost for adult Core Conditioning classes

·         £7/£5 concession

 

Cost for summer school workshops

·         £6 for ages 3–6 & 7–10 (2 hours)

·         £12 for ages 11 + (4 hours)
