Scottish Ballet aims to awaken interest, ignite passion, and foster talent by providing a broad-ranging access and participation programme, which raises awareness and appreciation of Scottish Ballet and its artistic direction, promotes ballet as a contemporary art form, and enhances the lives and learning of people of all ages and abilities

 

It is Scottish Ballet’s aim to inspire, inform and enhance the curriculum for excellence by providing simple cross-curricular tools for teachers to access.

 

As Scotland’s national dance company, we embrace the new Curriculum for Excellence and aim to be at the forefront of providing links to enrich the performing arts experience within Schools and further education outlets. Our education programme therefore includes practical workshops and lectures in school as well as Continuing Professional Development sessions and online resources for teachers or pupils as well world class dance performances at venues across Scotland and beyond.
